Wildflower Perfume Bottles


These stunning works by Anne Clifton are a celebration of everything that Anne loves about glass. Painstaking in their making, they include within their layers, gold and silver leaf, coloured glass trails, exquisitely made murrine, and flameworked flowers. 


Each piece is as unique and individual as the gardens and landscapes that have inspired them. Almost monumental in size, they are at once bold and beautiful, like a garden of earthly delights.


Anne’s Wildflower Perfume Bottles were exhibited as part of a solo show at Glas Galerie Broft in The Netherlands in 2010. They are an ongoing project and are in many collections around the world.


"I often feel a bit wistful when finishing these pieces. As if they belong in a different era,  of boudoirs and powder puffs. I long to go with them."
