Very Large Beads

These very large beads are a reinterpretation of traditional floral beads made on the torch. Originally thought to be part of larger ‘jewellery for buildings’ installation, they became objects in themselves.

“When I was little, I didn’t have the technology or skills to do what I wanted to within the environment around me. Things with holes became fascinating to me, instantly usable. The first things I ever made were jewellery for trees and rocks.”
